A Theatre piece for Corona times

Theatres around the world have been shut down for months due to the global Covid-19 pandemic; but the theatre corridors are still echoing the emotional moments, the excitement, the "Bravo!" and the connection between the viewer and the actor.

Corona allows us to wander about the vast spaces of an empty theatre; inside the twilight zone that merges fiction with reality and transforms the theatre building into an ever-changing landscape - which at times appears as an image and at times as the 'thing' it-self.

Shotetut – “To wander about” means to walk without purpose or aim – and it is indeed a criminal act in the Israeli law. Wandering allows us to observe reality on a different frequency. Once one pauses the immediate; the naiming of things; the categorizations – one can observe things as they are and as they could have been. The theatre is a place of potential; thus, it is the perfect landscape to wander about.

The audience members put on their headphones and wander about following Efriam and Yosefa through the unique and ever-expanding act of creation by Yoel Hoffman in his books.
