A-Genre Festival 2024 - Inquiry Committee

This year, as part of the documentary season at the Tamuna Theater: Reality Surpasses Any Fiction, the A-Genre Festival for Interdisciplinary Art convenes an artistic inquiry committee. This interdisciplinary committee will gather evidence, present testimonies, uncover facts, and submit a creative report on a reality that must change.
Because we need to investigate, speak truth to power, and bring the hidden into the light. To reason. To clarify. To articulate. To build a case. To accuse. To propose new courses of action.
Because art can help us unfold reality, analyze it, express ourselves within it, and draw conclusions from it.
Artists from all fields and disciplines invite you to a series of testimonies filled with truth and beauty about ugliness and deceit, and about a reality that needs clarification.
Artistic direction: Dr. Erez Ma’in Shalev and Itai Doron.
